Is the grass really greener on the other side?

Everybody has heard the saying 'the grass is greener on the other side' but I am here to question the validity of that statement. We can all look at our life, seeing every fiber of our lives that has gone astray, and then gaze onto another path and wonder how great it must be. What we don't think about is the snakes lying in wait under the cover of that oh so tempting grass, or the skeletons laying just beyond our field of site. You can read into this however you want, but think about what I say. Don't burn your bridges too soon.

As for me, I'll lay in my field of slightly browned meadow and watch the clouds roll by
